The Application Process
1 – Submitting your application form and CV
To start off the process, you will be asked to submit your most recent CV and to complete a few short motivational and competency-based screening questions. We will aim to get back to you with an update within a week of you submitting your application.
2 – Introductory video interview with Freshminds
If your initial application is successful, you will be invited to a short video interview with one of the Freshminds team. This interview will combine motivational, competency and CV-based questions, in order for us to get a better understanding of your skill-set and interest in Greenhill.
3 – In-depth video interview with Freshminds + online test
This is an extended interview run by Freshminds; in addition to further motivational and competency-based questions, you can also expect to be asked technical and commercial questions. In this interview, we aim to develop a well-rounded view of your interests, skill-set, your understanding of the role of an investment banking analyst and your motivations for applying to Greenhill, specifically.
Coupled with the extended interview, you will also be asked to complete a short online numerical reasoning test. The test is not pass/fail, but we will take your score into account with your overall application when making our selection for the assessment centre.
4 – Final assessment with Greenhill in early November
5 – Offer stage
If you have been successful during the assessment centre, you will be extended a verbal offer and we will begin the on-boarding process. Candidates who have reached the in-depth interview stage and the assessment centre will be able to ask for detailed feedback from Freshminds, which will hopefully serve you well in future application processes.
